Mod 1960s street style as I like to call it.

My birthday is coming up in a few months and I have been trying to lose 22 pounds by that time so that I can look and feel healthy and happy for once on my birthday. This would be my birthday look. I imagined it being for a night out on the town or my party.
I took this sequin drop waist dress by alice and olivia, and I paired it with a simple black sandal and bag. I wanted some color so I put this multicolored butterfly ring in the mix. I love the sparkle hoops, so I added a pair of black sparkle hoops to finish off the look.

I wanted to do a simple evening look that is dressy yet still cool enough to go to a club in. I paired the fabulous studded Christian Loboutin pumps with a black blazer that has a bit of sparkle. The black sparkly hoop earrings give it that dressy casual feel and the ring adds a little twist to the look.

I loved the dressy skirt with the structured jacket so I paired that together with the leather sandals to bring in a new harder edge to the look. I thought the pearls and chains of the neclace and the simplicity of the gray bag finish off the look nicely.

I love the black with the gold tones of the top and the bag so I thought the leather pants went perfectly. The leopard print slingback are cute and edgy enough for a hot date plus they add a pop of print in the sea of black.

I used everything from the Anne Taylor collection except for the shoes. I loved the hard and soft mix the collection had so I paired these more edgy boots with the very soft feminine blouse. I did a miture of the prints by adding in the dotted blouse with the leopard print skirt. The simplicity of the bag makes it an easy accesory to wear with this look. I went glam with the large sparkle of the ring and necklace. A pair of black tights along with the black trench coat will finish this look off great.

I paired the cute pink plaid jeans with a white plaid top to give it a cute matchy style. I paired studded accessories like the fabulous bag. The shoes are just feminine enough and still have an edge to them. I finished it off with an Swarovski Crystal skull ring and a pair of skull drop earrings.

I love the city style of New York with the high heels and simple dresses. I though this cavalli dress was perfect. I paired a nice pair of red pumps with the dress for a nice evening look in New York. I though the red and gold were a great complement so I also went with the gold and red drop earring. Its simple but elegant. The cuff brings out the white and gold in the dress. Finally I added some spark to the look with the black feather clutch. It adds an unexpected twist to the look. Any girl would love this look.

Sho[[ing does equal love and so does this look. I paired this cute blue dress with the simple pair of high heeled clogs. Then I used this nice white bag with the gold studs, while I also used the white sunglasses as a complement to each other. Lastly, the bracelet brings some color with its beautiful multi colored stones. Great for a day at the mall.

I chose to take inspiration from what the model Alek Wek already has on this elle cover. I paired the pale colored floral to with the black skirt, like the one on the cover. I then picked some rewally cute ankle booties like she has on the cover,, but they have a little more sparkle with the different shaped studs. I also picked the jewelry based on the studs on the shoes. I loved the stars on the shoes and so used the star earrings and the studded ring to complement that. Lastly, the pink belt adds that popof color as well as my favorite, the marc jacobs bag. The beautiful yet simple red bag finishes off this look just perfectly.
